Since 1988 Notre Dame has not won a championship. They have had a rough 20 years. Before this years bowl win they had not won one for 8 years. The longest drought in NCCA history. Last season was the worst the program ever had with only 3 wins and 9 losses. This season they started to get back on track with 7 wins and 6 losses its still no where where it needs to be but there is some hyph going into next season after they destroyed Hawaii.
